  1. Hi everyone,

I’m hoping somebody could help me. A person driving a van (UK) has hit my parents vehicle and drove off. I have a video of the incident that I am hoping somebody could help to decipher the registration plate as I’m not tech-savvy and am unable to make it out.

If anybody could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you.

I tried to get snapshots but it is very difficult to get the number plate.
Maybe you can ask neighbors around who might have security cams installed on your parent side of the street to show you some footage.
Also send the video to the police or other relevant departments they might have better equipment to decipher the number plate.
I am attaching the snapshots and also the best shot that I could but it is useless I am afraid.

The car with the yellow number plate are probably easier to decipher because the number is in black with yellow background.
If anyone can decipher the number, they might have a cam installed and then they should be able to check the number plate of the van as it came near it.

I'm afraid you're out of luck there... That blurry image reminds me of something my Dad told me about guitar electronics.

You can take a Clean Signal and Dirty it up. But you can't take a Dirty Signal and Clean it up.

But that was 50 plus years ago. Who knows what all you could do now. Modern Technology is a wonderful thing...
