yes, there is a logo plugin, and i can use this to display a text as a .jpg-File, but I want to display the text direct...

Is there a better plugin than DrawText (that has NO timeline function)

You can apply the Blending option to DrawText (or any other filter) to limit the frame range in VirtualDub2. Highlight the filter, press the Blending... button...
