    Hi everyone

Just bought a new tv 3 days ago, for the last 2 days it shows "horizontal colored flickering lines " mainly in the center of the screen, can anyone help me finding out if its something bad on my side before asking for a replacement/refund?

The lines appear when i switch on the tv after being off for more than 8 hours, they disappear after i switch the tv off/on 2 or 3 times and then never appear again, they appear in tv mode, media player, pc modes.

heres some videos showing the problem, the tv is a TCL 43c655

    Thanks for any help

Does it occur on all inputs? What about TV settings screen?
Looks like a panel problem. You can get a second opinion by the regulars at

  5. That sounds like a bad solder joint. But one thing isn't clear to me -- did you try different source devices? Cable box, DVD player, standalone media player, etc. If it only happens with one source it's likely something wrong with that source. If it happens with multiple devices it's likely the TV.

Oh, also try a different HDMI cable.
