How to download HLS video with Audio - not seperately - m3u8

I am downloading HLS videos from a website. The videos download without the audio. I managed to download the audio too but seperately.

Firefox addons work to download video and audio seperately.

I also tried N_m3u8DL-CLI . It's the same, video and audio seperate.

How do I download videos with audios?
Do I do something wrong or should I merge video and audio myself manually ?

But I heard it's a paid app.

Can you suggest free methods ?

Use mkvtoolnix gui. It is a very powerful tool and its free.

N_m3u8DL* uses ffmpeg for merging audio and video files. If that's not installed or not in path, I guess you'll end up with separate audio and video files.

Then it's not clear to me, if you simply downloaded the separate resources: with m3u8 you usually have a master file that links to separate audio and video files. These files are only merged automatically if you download the master m3u8.

Thank you. Then I will download m3u8 files with master name in it.
I used The stream detector add on right now and I am able to download the master file with it.
Much simpler
