I captured a tape ( that i have done before like this ) using my MMC 7.6 into Mpeg ( high bit rate )
Then I open it in VirtualDub so I can encode it into AVI ( Divx ) ( which I have it before ) but for some reason about 20-30 min into encoding VirtualDub gets stuck, & it will not get pass certain frame. I can not figure out what in the heck it is. I have captured another movie & tried the same thing but the same thing happens.
The only thing I did was to install the Divx 3.11 Aplha ( I have Divx 5 on my system also which is what I was using ), I installed the 3.11 because a capture that some one gave me of a TV show did not have audio, once the 3.11 was installed the audio started working.
Could installing 3.11 screwe something up? So far I have reinstalled the Radium MP3 audio codec & I have reinstalled the VirtualDub & I have unistalled 3.11 Divx. I have not yet reinstalled the Divx5.0 ( which is the one I was trying to use for encoding )
Any help would be appreacited.
Thanx
I have WindowsXP Pro, PIII 800 512MB of Ram, WD HD 7200rpm 40GB
Please help
Thanx
