  1. I'm dealing with vertical stripes on my DV footage. A few years ago, a kind person on this forum suggested using the Santiag filter in Avisynth. I'm trying to fine-tune the filter's settings to remove the stripes effectively, but I'm having trouble understanding what each parameter does.

Could anyone provide a breakdown of the Santiag filter's settings and how they affect the image?

I'm looking for a subtle tweak, so any advice on how to make precise adjustments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

santiag() is anti-alias. No relation to "vertical stripes". You must be thinking of something else.

Please review the two screenshots I have uploaded.
One of them shows the result of using the Santiag filter.
The problem of vertical stripes is most visible on the red shirt.
My goal is to fine-tune the Santiag filter for a more subtle effect.
