  1. I'm not a newbie to the forum, but I am a newbie to all new conversion technology that's out there right now.

Back in the day I was using yadif, but nowadays things have changed for the better.

I was reading _Al_'s advice to start with BWDIF instead of QTGMC.
I followed all the steps, but for some reason I can't get the plugin BWDIF.DLL loaded.

How can I make this plugin work as an Avisynth plugin?

I've installed MeGui x64 and I've installed Avisynth+ (x64) and I put the .dll file in the plugins64+ folder.

And I've installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package x64

Does anyone how to fix this message?
    Thanks.

  2. Are you using the avisynth version of BWDIF, not the vapoursynth version ?
    https://github.com/Asd-g/AviSynth-BWDIF

Avisynth version is BWDIF.dlll (capital letters) , but your error message says otherwise, so I suspect you have the wrong .dll, the vapoursynth version which is Bwdif.dll

  3. My goodness, you are right!
I googled the bwdif.dll file and didn't think about vapoursynth at all. I'm getting rusty I guess.

Thank you for your quick reply
