  1. Hi There:

I have a .aiff file and a .mov file. When I open each one individually in QuickTime on my computer they are both the same length right down to the milli-second.

When I combine the 2 files and play the entire movie on my computer they seem to be in sync very well. Although it is a little hard to tell when your looking at a screen that 352 x 240.

But when I slice up my movie, export it as a toast ready VCD, and burn it with Toast Ti the video and audio seems to work it's way out of sync throughout the movie.

It's not super bad but bad enough that it noticable and a little annoying. I'd say in some spots it coulb be as much as a second out of sync. I feel like I'm watching one of those foreign subtitled movies all the time.

Does anyone know how I can correct this and keep the video & audio in sync right through to VCD creation??

    Thanks In Advance

Had this problem as well. For me all I had to do was once the movie was in snyc export as a .mov at 29.97 fps; the original was 23.976. Once the movie was converted I then exported as a Toast ready VCD.

  3. Hi TGPO:

    Thanks For The Responce!

So do you mean that I open / combine the 2 files in QuickTime and export them as a QuickTime movie at 29.97 fps??

If when you combine the two files they are still in sync then export to .mov as 29.97 fps then export as Toast VCD. Give that a try.
