Hi everybody, this is mz very first post at forum... I have some question about Subtitle Edit 4.0.11, which I try to use.
1) Under Edit->Replace, then I type a.e.,Što, to replace with, Šta, all words which contain Što or što are replecet with Šta. I supose Case sensive must be checked, and I do this every time I open window replace. Can something be done in settings, that case sensitive be always checked?
2) Can somebody detaly explaim me all thigs from this

What I do when I want to replace a word is first find what I want to replace in the subtitle. I then highlight what I want to replace. Then I Edit > Replace and my highlighted text is automatically inserted into the ‘Find what:’ box. You will have to of course enter your ‘Replace with:’ text. Now, if you have several subtitles that you need to replace the same ‘Find what:’ you don’t have to close the replace window and open it again. Just save your current subtitle and drag/drop the next one onto SE. Then click the ‘Replace’ or ‘Replace all’ button. Wash, rinse, repeat.
EDIT: In case I wasn't clear. Fine the subtitle line that has the text you want to replace. Highlight it. In the box below that has the selected subtitle line highlight the text you want to replace.Last edited by Moralez; 7th Mar 2025 at 15:20.
