Replay Media Capture. Upgraded but no useful help from their tech support

I've been using this off and on for quite a while. It quit working so I had to buy again. Immediately I had problems and got what I would say was some of the worst tech support service I've seen. Normally there are just a few music streams that I like to be able to play back later. It used to be I'd set it to "auto" and then start the stream and it would pick it up. For the last year, anytime I put it on auto, it would turn on proxy on my Windows PC. This would block any of my browsers from working and nothing would happen in RMC. I thought after I just paid for the upgrade that I would get some help with this but I just get a form reply. Eventually, although I'm not educated in the inner workings of web pages, I could figure out some streams actual urls and would manually paste them into RMC. Also, I couldn't do this with any videos on Facebook (which I used to be able to do). Pasting the URL just brought an error. I tried putting it on "auto" but then was back in the cycle of RMC starting a proxy and cutting off all web. I also used to download some longer videos from Youtube. Lately, if it's any length at all, it downloads at a super slow rate until it eventually times out. It also doesn't show any progress report like it used to. Does anyone here have experience with this program and any idea if it can be fixed or at least another program that can download Youtube (and maybe Facebook) videos? Thanks!

I see I have that already on my PC. I use Smplayer and can view Youtube videos through that. How do I do the downloading through yt-dlp? Thanks.

Well if you want to download
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNQXAC9IVRw

You download yt-dlp and put it in a random folder of your choice. You open cmd in that folder by typing cmd in the path address file bar and pressing enter. And then you copy paste the download command and press enter

yt-dlp "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNQXAC9IVRw"

It will download the file in the same folder.

I got it to download a youtube video. Way faster! Thanks!! Any suggestion on downloading FB videos. Replay Media Capture used to be able to do it last year but no longer. Thanks

Same thing. Just use the page url. For example you can download
