Apologies if this has been asked/answered before, I have had a look on the forum but didn't know what to search for.

I am wanting to download a 4K HDR stream but I only have a 1080p SDR monitor - I presume as I only have a 1080p screen the browser detects this and only offers streams up to that resolution?

Is there anyway to set or trick chrome to think I am connected to a 4K HDR monitor so I get offered the 2160p stream?

    Thanks in advance.

There are different ways to obtain a higher resolution
    - you can change your user agent through a browser addon

    - you can manipulate the manifest/mp4 URL to obtain better quality
    - you can obtain it directly from their server by editing specific headers for specific requests (using a script)

It's different from site to site. For some there's isn't any way to get better quality. Could you provide the video URL that you're attempting to download?
