Which video splitting software best for sharing Rumble/YT excerpts/clips?

Greetings. I'm new here. I'm trying to figure out how to share only excerpts from Rumble/YT interviews (not the entire interview). Not having much luck with MP4Tools. After down loading one video into MP4Tools, I'm able to get to the stage to begin splitting video and audio separately, but see no way to merge back together. Maybe an issue of ffMEP not installed I hear. I'm new to this so...I find this software very non intuitive for a beginner. Are there easier splitting/re-merging software programs available for my specific purposes? Thanks

Looks like I'm making some headway with MP4Tools, gave it another try. Just need to look about and play with it more.

There are Shotcut and LosslessCut which are quite beginner-friendly and free, and don’t require additional dependencies like ffmpeg
