  1. I have captured an mpeg from tv, however I would like to change the logo of the tv channel by my own logo or I would like to paint that part. How would I do that ?

Also how would I write texts on my captured video? May I do that transparent, I mean directly on the video sequence like transparently?

I am struggling with Ulead's Media Studio vid producer but could nt manage to do these?

Any comments or utiliy advices are welcome

  2. I believe you can do so by either using VirtualDub or TMPGEnc, by using the watermark feature.

  3. Can be done by VirtualDub (not sure how by TMPGEnc).
Be warned that reencoding is however necessary and your output quality may not be as good as the source.
Use the LogoAway filter in VirtualDub to remove the existing logo. (if the logo is big, blending of the background may be very evident especially in fast moving scenes). Should be OK if you are replacing with your own logo.
Use the Logo filter to create your own logo.
Use the subtitler filter to create text.
VirtualDub site: www.virtualdub.org You should get the links to the filters from here.
