Is there a freeware program that will allow me to convert an MKV file to an MPEG-II file and add an .ass subtitle file (not .srt), without there being a watermark and without time constraints? An older version of Any Video Converter does this, but the video that it puts out is choppy. The newer versions of AVC (at least the free ones) only allow .srt file subtitle files.
