Hi, I want to zoom in on a moving video, with a lense like focus on a part of video anywhere in the running video .
I have tried vlc media player to play the video and used the windows magnifier to use lense mode. I could turn my mousse to a square type lens by opting ctrl alt L . Ok. but when playing video , it stops the video playing. I tried a software called virtual magnifying glass, created a shortcut and tried not to click the mouse, but open the by keyboard, when the lens opens, the video stops altogether. I want to zoom in , when the video is moving . I think probably vlc does not allow any hovering over the video by other software and causes to stop the video. Is there any tweak or software freely available to achieve this I have the latest vlc media player for your information.
I tried the vlc interactive zoom feature, but that is not achieving the things I want. I could not move the zoom window and the video size becomes smaller when you use this feature.

  2. Perhaps try the zoom function in VLC. Here is a page that shows how to do that.

hi, jagabo, I listed the limitation of magnifier. ctrl alt l while open the lense kind of magnifier, this key is not a toggle switch to go back to mouse.

I use X-Mouse to assign the mouse's center button to toggling the Magnifier off and on.
