  1. Hi, I have been trying to burn 5 MP4 video files onto a 4.35GB blank DVD disc using Windows' utility tool which allows you to transfer/burn files to a blank disc without having to re-encode them. Each video file is roughly 50 mins long and around 600-700MB each. The 5 MP4 files in total come to 3.69GB, enough to be able to fit onto a blank DVD. I have managed to fit other files like this of the same size onto a blank DVD before (a few months ago I think), however now, for some reason when I click on "Next" after copying them over it says there isn't enough space. I have tried a few more blank discs just in case the disc is faulty but it's the same with those, and the discs aren't scratched (I used the same HP brand discs a few months ago and had no issues). Even when I just copy over 4 files at 2.97GB it still says there isn't enough space to burn. The DVD writer I'm using is a Freecom external DVD writer (probably about 15 years old but still works OK), maybe the writer is faulty when burning. Maybe the files are larger than what it is saying they are in properties.

    Anyone know what's causing this?.
