  1. I enabled a setting a while back that seems to be loading the entire playlist from A-Z during playback or even when stopped. I get that potplayer can be configured to load every file when playback starts, but it's also loading every file after playback has started, and even before playback is started. The strange thing is, if I delete the bottom half of an alphabetical playlist (not a typical playlist, the one automatically generated when potplayer opens a folder I mean), it will load everything from the final file in the top half all the way to the final file in the list, it's so annoying, but if I delete every file EXCEPT the final file in the list, and I keep that file in the bottom of the list, nothing loads. Strange right? I'm digging in the settings here but it's not in any of the obvious places.

  2. I found the solution, it was the "Auto Add similar files in play folder" option, I disabled it. But now I got a new problem, no matter what order I sort my internal playlist it's always random, paying no regard to the order. This is the fist time I tried it, I used to use DPL files but I wanted a "Favourite Songs" section, and while I might want to randomize that sometimes, I usually play them in order and now I don't have that option so I'm still stuck using the old DPL playlists until I sort this out

  3. Listed in a random order, or playing in a random order? Check the following option: Right click context menu > Playback > Use shuffle playback mode

  4. Nah, it's like it's playing all the files alphabetically like normal, but it's skipping files that are in different folders than the file I double-clicked on in the playlist, even though I have the "Arrange by Location" option disabled and I sorted the list alphabetically, so it only works normally if I copy everything into a single folder and rebuild the playlist right now, the problem seems related to the fact these playlist items are coming from several different directories.
