Sony ccd-trv87 with time based corrector built in

I have a sony handycam ccd-trv87 hi8 and a VCR. If I connect the VCR to the
Sony handycam just for TBC on it. Will it correct the line on the VHS cassette coming from the VHS cassette
and then a capture device and use Virtualdub 1.9.11?

No. There’s no way to do any kind of pass through since the single set of audio/video connections is either for input OR for output. There is no second set of connectors at all so it’s just not physically possible to do any kind of pass through.

PS: The same limitation applies to the D8 camcorders though many (not all) can “convert” the analog input to a DV output thus doing the analog to digital capture for you.
