The clip is animated interlaced NTSC. I tried:

    Code:
    QTGMC(Preset="Slow", FPSDivisor=1, MatchPreset="Slow", Sharpness=0.5)
    SRestore(23.976)
but it still generates some ghosting artifacts every few frames. Is there a better way even if that means reducing the fps? Basically I want every frame to be clear.

  2. Haven't tried it, but looking at the clips separate fields http://avisynth.nl/index.php/SeparateFields I doubt that deinterlacing + reduction will work. (sRestore or cDeblend should help with some of the blending, but I doubt you can rid of them all)
I would suggest trying TIVTC + ExBlend can: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=175948
(no clue what are the right parameters to try with ExBlend)

Thanks for reply. I separated the fields and it seems the ghosting is "embedded" in fields. I hate when DVD creators make a mess like that. I found a PAL source and it seems it has less visible ghosting.
