Hi. Looking for a good software title that will allow me to cut an MP4 in parts without re-encoding each part. Will Virtualdub do this?

    Thanks!

Try SmartCutter, it is a frame accurate, cuts at the exact frame without re-encoding, It is not free though.

Not possible, at least the frames up to the next keyframe must be recoded....

Yes; dellsam34 probably meant without a whole re-encoding

Exactly, I also read that the re-encoding is just re-arranging frames around the cut, so it is not like other software that convert to another supported codec before doing the cuts.

hi. How do i set an input point and an output point with Shutter Encoder? I want to simply cut a video at the starting and ending timepoints.

    Thanks!
