    I'm currently using windows 98, and i'm getting so many errors.. i want to format my hard drive and install a new OS. what would you people recommend?

    I use my computer for.. er.. pretty much anything.. the web, audio editing, VCD/mpeg creating, cd burning, etc etc..

    You may want to try WinXP home. It is very stable and fully supporting multimedia. If you do, buy the full install, dont upgrade from 98 to XP, to many people I heard had problems. Best to do a clean install.
