Need help playing m3u8 on VLC

Hello, I'm trying to stream a .m3u8 link on VLC media player but I keep getting an error.

I can however download it using IDM and Live Stream Downloader chrome extension just fine, which makes me believe it's not encrypted but somehow I can't play it through media players.

Can anybody help me figure out how to play this link on media players without having to download it?

it's not encrypted since u can download with IDM. It requires a http parameter or cookie to access the m3u8. IDM plugin auto captured this which is why the program is able to download it.

Go to developer tools->network and search for the m3u8 request call then u can see what is required to access the m3u8

it's not encrypted since u can download with IDM. It requires a http parameter or cookie to access the m3u8. IDM plugin auto captured this which is why the program is able to download it.

Here's a screenshot of m3u8 request details (If I'm doing it right) It appears that the video is encrypted with AES256, would you agree? And if so, is there a solution to view this stream without downloading it?
