    I have the same film (.mkv) one time with HDR(HDR10) and one time with DV(DolbyVision). Is it somehow possible to "merge" DV and HDR10 into one file (both are .mkv) without reencoding ?

    The DV version should have fall back to HDR integrated. Check your files with Mediainfo.

    It does not have it. There stays: HDR format: Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 5, dvhe.05.06, BL+RPU

    Dolby Vision Profile 5 uses Dolby proprietary IPTPQc2 colorspace. It has no fallback.
