Always difficult to diagnose exactly when you have changed multiple settings/behavior at the same time in your capture setup.
But good to read the results have improved now.
It is not a limitation but an option to use.
But as mentioned there too, ScenalyzerLive only works with DV capture devices.

Agreed... Patients has never been one of my virtues

My fingers are crossed. At the very leased, now when/if error 87 rears it ugly head I know what doesn't work.

Just an a FYI, follow-up/update...
I have three machines that was giving me the headache out lined in post #1. Since that post I applied this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acxCueZ2dVQ to all three machines. Two of the machines no longer give me the "error code; 00000087". The third machine enjoyed a fresh install of the OS as well as reinstalling the software needed for capturing, and as of this posting the third machine has not given the 87 error, as well.
