subtitle issue with mytvsuper

I use n m3u8dl re --mux-import command

N_m3u8DL-RE -M format=mkv --del-after-done -sv best -sa all -ss all --log-level INFO --save-name "黑色月光 EP2" "http://wowza-rr-vod-5.edgeware.tvb.com/cencmdrmv/_definst_/smil:vipo/mytvsuper15/68143/6814262/mps_000005317468_2.smil/manifest.mpd........." --key d8bbdc6ed7afaf8ebd1aa710718bd73d:xxxxxxxx --mux-import "path=000_sc.vtt:lang=chi:name=sc"

after mixing I get video with subtitle unreliable like this (English sub seems fine, but Chinese subtitle I get this)

and I use mkvmerge to manually muxing and still got the same results.

mkvmerge -o test.mkv EP2.mkv 000tc.vtt

I'm using Intel Mac with macOS 15

use subtitle edit to convert vtt to srt and save as utf-8 with or without bom. then mux use mkvmerge.

I don't think Subtitle Edit is available on macOS

alright, i download the vtt file, and it is utf-8 without bom. it should display normal but it not, strange.

so maybe it is system issue, does your system support chinese simple or traditional display? built in chinese font?

是中文的，之前macOS14字幕都还是好好的，升级macOS15后就变成这样了，但是中间有一个月的时 间没有看TVB，不知道是他们网站升级还是我系统问题。

before when I'm using macOS 14, everything is fine, then I updated to macOS 15, subtitles just become like this, but I haven't downloaded from tvb in a month, so I don't know if it's my problem or they just changed something with subtitles.

ok, after updating to macOS 15.1, subtitle is normal again.
