    Hi all,

    I wasn’t sure where to post, so apologies if I’m in the wrong forum.

    I’m using a Toshiba SD-V280 to play back my VHS tapes as part of the digitization process. Occasionally I take off the cover and clean the video heads. I unplug the unit and allow it to sit for a few minutes before actually cleaning it. If I didn’t wait long enough before starting to clean it, could I get shocked?
