4:2:2 or 4:4:4?

Does using 4:4:4 offer any benefit over 4:2:2? I have 480p content and was wondering if I should use 4:2:2 or see any differences with 4:4:4

Needs more background information, because it also depends on what the "480p content" was , and how it was going to be used

Depend on your source - except cases mentioned by Cornucopia if your source was 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 there will be no gain for selecting 4:4:4.
