I was able to use WideVineProxy2 and N_m3u8DL-RE to download a long live stream; when the time limit I set ended, it failed to decrypt everything or mux the segment files. It looks like there may have been an error in there somewhere and a few segments are missing, and everything after isnt decrypted. Is there a way to manually put these together and decrypt? Ive attempted doing this with the same key but it doesnt seem to work (no errors given, just remains encrypted).

Live stream doesn't sound like something that would require WVP2. Are you talking YouTube? Then definitely try ytarchive instead. https://github.com/Kethsar/ytarchive

This was an ESPN live feed (stream of one of their network channels). So its neverending essentially, but if I go back a different key is given and that doesnt seem to work on what was downloaded previously.

So many keys!? Downloaded 720p video and that was fine, but the audio track threw a lot of errors and didn't decode.

I followed all the instructions. Installed FFMpeg and MP4Decrypt but when I typed the whole command as shown in the video alongwith the key, The error I got was "input not supported". Does that mean that MP4decrypt cannot convert the stream or is it something to do with Widewineproxy?

Listening to your audio download, I notice that contrary to the run time, the bad audio track I grabbed started with the HBO theme music and then nothing afterwards. It wasn't undecrypted and yours track doesn't have the theme.

Digging deeper by doing: "yt-dlp ... -F --allow-u", this is what it turned up:

I used yt-dlp to download using:

PlayreadyProxy2 only works on Windows 10/11 machines with hardware that supports DRM. Vineless works regardless of these. No idea why should I advertise a program that has issues that another one has fixed. Technically the thread isn't for PlayreadyProxy2 either.

I'm the OP in this thread so I have the right to lead people to my other extentions that, by the way, have the exact same working principle except for the fact that they were designed for a different DRM system.

This specific page seems to be broken at the moment, saying its embed code is expired. However, VdoCipher blocked virtual device CDMs for a long time with the error code that is seen on your screenshot, and recently they started blocking physical Android CDMs too if some conditions are not met, with error 2074. Probably it is required to find either a non-Android Widevine CDM somewhere, or a way to make it think its app is used.
