  2. Is it possible to somehow make this or some other extension to replace Google CDM entirely? The purpose is so that I can access DRM-protected videos from my browser without running some obfuscated untrustworthy code, as if the videos were encrypted by ClearKey DRM. I tried to create a test extension in attempt to override some functions, in order to do it later with DRM-related ones, but it seems it doesn't work or I don't know what permissions I should set to make it work.

    Omg man... every command copy paste.... that's so much work... to hell with this thing.
    Imagine you also have to wait for the download to finish... why can't it be instantly... and then, you also have to click, or wait, DOUBLE click the video to start playing.... and then you have to watch it... and if it's a movie it's gonna take like 2 hours or something... that's so time consuming...
    I just asked because I thought there was a way to batch the downloads... and I explained the way I do it because of my bad english and wanted to people understand me...

  11. Great extension, Thank you very much.

    Not sure if possible at all,
    Can there be an option for MP4 "-M mp4" as well as selecting "-sv" "-sa" and "-ss"?

    Thanx in advance.

    This is Copy/Paste from
    https://github.com/DevLARLEY/WidevineProxy2#installation

    Installation:
    - Chrome (Ch)
    Download the ZIP file from the releases section
    Navigate to chrome://extensions/
    Enable Developer mode
    Drag-and-drop the downloaded file into the window

    - Firefox (FF)
    Persistent installation
    Download the XPI file from the releases section
    Navigate to about:addons
    Click the settings icon and choose Install Add-on From File...
    Select the downloaded file

    I have tried it on FF yesterday ... and it worked great and was easy:

    1)
    - Download the XPI file from the releases section
    https://github.com/DevLARLEY/WidevineProxy2/releases/download/v0.8.2/WidevineProxy2_v0.8.2.xpi
    (Or open this page in FF and it will ask you to Install it)
    Add WidevineProxy2? This extension will have permission to:
    - Access your data for all web sites
    - Access browser tabs
    CLICK -> Add

    Also in Add-Ons select: "Pin to Toolbar"

    2)
    - Click on the "WidevineProxy2 Extension" and select
    -- "Choose file" in section of "Widevine Device"
    (This will close the window of "WidevineProxy2 Extension"
    and open up smaller window with option to "Browse ..."
    -- Click on "Browse" and then navigate to where you store your *.wvd files and select one

    3)
    - Click to Enable the extnension
    There are other per-requisites your PC needs to have installed in order to download.

    Check out either Windows/Linux guides I created on how to get all the utilities needed:
    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/414487
    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/414856

    4)
    - Open DRM Website
    https://bitmovin.com/demos/drm
    and play the content

    5) In the "WidevineProxy2 Extension" in few seconds you will see
    in section "Keys"
    + https://bitmovin.com/demos/drm

    press on the "+"
    and that will reveal all the information needed

    6)
    Click on "CMD"
    (that will copy the following command):
    Code:
    N_m3u8DL-RE "https://cdn.bitmovin.com/content/assets/art-of-motion_drm/mpds/11331.mpd" -H "User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:132.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/132.0" -H "Accept: */*" -H "Origin: https://bitmovin.com" -H "DNT: 1" -H "Referer: https://bitmovin.com/" --key ccbf5fb4c2965be7aa130ffb3ba9fd73:9cc0c92044cb1d69433f5f5839a159df --key 9bf0e9cf0d7b55aeb4b289a63bab8610:90f52fd8ca48717b21d0c2fed7a12ae1 --key eb676abbcb345e96bbcf616630f1a3da:100b6c20940f779a4589152b57d2dacb --key 0294b9599d755de2bbf0fdca3fa5eab7:3bda2f40344c7def614227b9c0f03e26 --key 639da80cf23b55f3b8cab3f64cfa5df6:229f5f29b643e203004b30c4eaf348f4 --use-shaka-packager -M format=mkv

    7) Paste the command in CMD / PS / Bash

  14. Thanks to everyone on here I have had some success by following the directions listed in this thread -- However, every so often I will get a download that seems to be corrupted. Is there anything I can do for that?

    The manifest may have ads or you're attempting to decrypt resolutions that are too high.

    Let me try at a lower res but I know it may not have ads but and intro. Any suggestion on getting past that?

    Usually, if a manifest has ads, you can just edit them out using notepad. Or you can use --ad-keyword for N_m3u8dl-re

  18. Thanks, I did do this using --ad-keyword ads.

    I noticed the preroll was gone I didn't have all of warning:

  23. So I tried this but got an error but I see what you wanted me to remove. Will I need to search for that and drop in the mpd for each one that has this issue?
    Just asking,

    I'm going to try this again from scratch to make sure I am working with all current info.

    Thanks for the help. Will post back with the new result

    Edit -- With update. I followed these procedures and it worked!! Def thanks for the help but still wondering if this has to be searched for and removed for each time?

    What's the benefit of shaka-packager? I've never thought about it before now.

    So I have been playing with this and came up with a Regex that removes what will stop this from working if anyone needs it:

    <Period id="pre-roll[^>]*>.*?</Period>

    running that with a RegEx replacing it with nothing will remove what is not needed.

    Hope this helps someone else

  26. It was working two days ago, it seems that they changed the system where I am getting them from and it says the following
    {
    "status": "UNGRANTED_REQUEST",
    "code": 400,
    "errorCode": 1001,
    "message": "Invalid request"
    }
    this response the licence server with proxy enabled , and i have 2 cdm , without proxy work ok but dont have keys

    Sometimes you may get sync video/audio issues when muxing with N_m3u8DL-RE. Shaka fixes those issues. Also sometimes mp4decrypt may not work at decrypting. Mp4decrypt is the default when shaka packager aint present as a parameter.
