This means I cannot decrypt the Video.

You didn't click "Chose File" first and select a local CDM file. Read the initial post in this thread again.

Maybe I missed something, but I tried to rip some FreeVee (Amazon free with commercials) and Peacock (also free with commercials) using WVP2 and the output was corrupt even though the keys were generated. I think the ads were the issue. Is it just a matter of blocking the ad segments, that I need L1 or is there more to it?
I'm using L3 CDM's from here on videohelp.

I ended up ripping from Roku instead, but it's lower quality of course.

I followed the post, navigated to the release page, and downloaded WidevineProxy2_v0.8.2.zip. (https://github.com/DevLARLEY/WidevineProxy2/releases)
then unzip, go to chrome extension choose Load unpacked, choose unzip folder.
The extension loaded. In the extension, enabled, in the Widevine Device, choose one file that I downloaded.

In the picture you posted u have selected remote cdm instead of widevine device in device type section
I was unable to get mpd url via extension but u can get it easily from network tab of developer tools

try unchecking "use shaka packager" and retry again.

Why are you manually adding the .mpd That's your problem, wrong mpd based on your screenshot and --keys/KID as others have pointed out.

Make the change from yours:

Your browser is selecting the incorrect one at least in the case for:

Make that change, copy the "cmd" from widevineProxy2 just like imaghost showed in the last post, you should be good.

I believe you entering what you believe is the correct .mpd each time is NOT the correct one.

You can even tell in your one screenshot, vs even what imaghost posted in his vlc player. Time is off, so mpd is incorrect. Let widevineProxy2 do the work and pull the mpd for you.

Just wanted to mention I tried another Peacock movie and that worked just fine. Might have been a fluke the last time.
What surprised me in this case is that Peacock's version of this movie seemed better than Amazon.
