Firefox not showing taskbar icons after being selected on the quick access

I'm trying to get my sisters firefox to show a taskbar icon after its selected but there's no icon,firefox does run but she want to have a few icons so she can select her page,iv'e tried a few things like deleting the iconcache.db,anyone know the fix for this issue?

try these tips -
If Firefox is not showing taskbar icons, you can try these steps:

Check full screen mode
If Firefox is in full screen mode, the taskbar will be hidden. You can use the F11 key to toggle full screen mode on and off.

Check the settings file

Tried all those,when i click on firefox shortcut on the desktop the icon shows up,just not when i click on the quick access bar shortcut.

Didn't fix it,most likely it's a windows issue since it does the same thing with other programs on the quick access bar,just that firefox is what my sister uses the most.

I'm using Windows 7 & it is just a right click on the desktop icon & select "Pin to Taskbar" .
I doubt you sister is using Windows 7 So probably no help.
