  1. This is my first attempt at burning a VCD, so bear with me. I went through the steps listed on this site at "How to convert to VCD with TMPGEnc" and had no problems until it came to the final step. In Project Wizrd screen 5/5 titled "Specifying output file name" I try to change the Output file from the C drive to my burner and I get a message that says I don't have permission.

    What am I doing wrong?

  2. you dont must to encode directly to the burner..
anyway you will not have the VCD structure if you do that
you need to convert the mpg file to .dat and the VCD structure.
with TMPGEnc you just create the mpg file, this is a previous
step to burn the VCD proyect..
after you get the mpg. you can use EasyVCD , Nero, EasyCD etc
and burn it in VCD format.

  3. Don't take offense ARk your english is a little bit confusing.

    moesyzlak,
If you don't understand what ALK is saying, Maybe I can explain it a bit better:
You cannot have your burner as the output just put it back into your c drive .What you have done is created a mpg file out of an avi.
So when your done convering the avi to mpg then burn it onto a disc, use either vcd esy like the guide says or you can even use NERO instead

    HOPE THIS HELPS

We were all NEWBIES once and the only stupid question is the one that's not asked?
