  1. Hello I am here to learn I have a Macbook Pro intel and I would like to convert an MKV H.265 video in H.264 what is the best software thank you in advance

    in fact I'm looking for software to encode without making my macbook heat up

    Ripbot if you have a few spare desktops lying around. The distributed encoding feature really speeds up encode times as you utilise all the wokstations on your local network for encoding.

  5. Handbrake is available for on mac os and 'H264 (VideoToolbox)' should use the hardware encoder and thus not heat up the system that much.
