In totally new to film restoration with Film9 .. First attempts were fine but when I try to repeat the same restoration on the SAME scanned file the original of 4 min 39sec (that was preserved on the first attempt) is now exactly 1min 36sec on every subsequent attemt .. what am I doing that I stupidly miss .. I have tried and double checked evert setting. Any suggestion will be most appreciated.

It sounds like the issue might be related to how the software is interpreting the video settings after the first attempt. There could be a problem with the frame rate or encoding that’s causing the file length to change. A good idea would be to double-check the export settings after each attempt to ensure nothing is being automatically changed during the restoration process.
