How to get the license key from a Widevine m3u8 link?

Inside the m3u8 file the format of that key request (I assume) is something like:

There isnt a method. Just luck and cache.

yea, getwvkeys have cache too

anyway wired. wdvine use mpd not m3u8 and from the first post METHOD=SAMPLE-AES it's aes encryption, not widevne. need key 32 character

Which contains the string "SAMPLE-AES" like you mentioned. And yet it's pure widevine because otherwise the command in post #4 would be impossible to run. But of course this has to make sense
