  1. Hello everyone,

I'm trying to create a pretty basic Blu-ray menu using TMPGEnc Authoring Works 7, but I'm running into some issues. My menu only needs three options: Play Movie, Subtitles, and Bonus, but I can't figure out how to assign a menu button to turn on subtitles or switch to a different audio track.

Has anyone worked with this program before? I’ve been searching through the settings, but I’m stuck on how to link the buttons to these specific functions. Any help or guidance would be really appreciated!

    I have similar problem...

The software seems too simplified to be able to make "simple" Blu-rays...

I would like something simple: A main page containing : "Play / Set Up / Chapters / Bonus" buttons and each of the buttons would lead to another page...

But when I add tracks (bonus) it creates a top menu for me to access each element, and each element has its own chapters / Set up page...

Maybe there is a way to make a classic blu-ray but I can't find it.

Yep, I am not seconding, I think I'm thirding?

Here, or maybe on their site, it describes the license as "Shareware (Free download but time limited software. Full version from $100)". WTH does that mean? Time limited but does it stamp the produced disk? From $100?!?! Different time length of use rights license?

I also want something simple to "create a pretty basic Blu-ray menu" as @nostalgia described. But I don't want to waste a bunch of disks to find out it's not for me.

If not TAWS, what is a simple Blu-Ray authoring program, preferably open source, that a chubby, old, retired guy can use? @nostalgia I know it was last fall when you posted this, but did you get it figured out or move to a different program? @Atillart, maybe we will find a way to make ""simple" Blu-rays..."

    Trial limitations:

Usable for 30 days after initial startup.
License screen appears at every startup.
A logo movie track is inserted at the beginning of each authoring data.

So @Atillart, what are you going to do? Are you going to continue trying author with TMPGEnc Authoring Works or try a different program?
