    Trying to download this free movie on youtube:

    No luck with Jdownloader or macytdl.

    Anyone know any other ways that might work?

    The movie doesn't even have DRM. Why not use yt-dlp?

    That's what I thinking but when Jdownloader or Macytdl coulndt download it, I thought it there might be another layer of DRM included. (new to this kind of stuff in general)

    Jdownloader - said the file was temporary unavailable over and over. I installed Jdownloader 2 and the same issue.

    Macytdl - error message when trying to download. (maybe its the version I'm using? Im on older mac os so Im looking into the most up to date version I can run without issues.

    The downloaders you tried failed because you weren't using a vpn/proxy. The video is restricted to US country (at least).
