problems with my samsung dvd player

i just have my player and i want to make vcd with my divx prefer series(capture from vhs with my flyvideo card )
i know it is work to my player with cd-r because my friend give me a movie to try and it work well (but his movie issue to dvd and convert to vcd with dvdx1.8 )
so i try everithing to make vcd : vcdeasy and tscv , with or without chapters and menus , and even try to make good sequence header with mpeg sequence maker ect .... but it doesnt work on my player !!!
more , i give my try to another friend and it work with him but the sound is not very good ( he have dvd player whitch it can play lot of format but no mp3)

i know that my player dont read lots of format and i suppose it must have perfect video to work but i dont know how can i make it possible with my little series ( quality video is not perfect but quite good even )

Ok, I own a samsung dvd 511, and I only can play vcd's in it if the video is VCD standard: mpeg-1 and 1150Kbps. And THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: The brand of CD. I have tried a lot of brands (from cheaper to expensiver) and the only one which works in my player is PRINCO CDR.
Remember, you must only record it at 4x maximum, unless you want jumps in the play.

I use always TMPEGEnc for converting video, and I haven't any problem.

it is very possible that the cause of my problems is that !!!
i burn it with philips cd-r ....
but the vcd witch work on my player (give by my friend for try ) was not a "princo" and more i dont know where to buy them ...

if you know where to buy (in france ) please tell me ...

hello again,
i've heard that princo is called Sirius in other countries (don'tn know in France). But I Know thath other brand, VivaStar (SwissMade) works too in my dvd player. Perhaps you can find this brand.
