Works fine here.
Is it activated?
Start firefox, tools, addons and themes, see if it's activated

Try removing UBlock Origin and then close Firefox. Open Firefox again and add the extension. Then close Firefox again. Finally, reopen Firefox and see if it works. I cane across an article where the user had the same issue. When they removed and installed UBlock it didn't work, but if they closed Firefox between removing it and re-adding the extension then it was OK.

subscribe to what ??, sounds like you might have a virus !!! -
Its not a virus, adblock plus puts an additional page asking to subscribe to get more features, when i remove adblock plus it removes this action.

Do you stay signed into your Mozilla user account? What about if you just sign out?

I'm signed out and stayed that way for the new user account.

Yeah that's weird. I usually create a new FF profile by running

Just curious, but if you try UBlock Origin Lite instead, does it get disabled too? You said that with a new user account it works. Is it possible that you have Firefox running someplace else that also uses the same account, but on that other machine UBlock Origin is disabled? Maybe when you start Firefox each time on your current machine, it is logging into your account, and syncs up with that other Firefox instance where it is disabled. Just a guess.

Try adding ublock to the cookie and site data in firefox.
Open the addon and themes page in firefox. Open the ublock options page.
At the top in the adres bar there is a link like this: moz-extension://76ejdhrh-6red-4fddg-agte-52rrfhrtrfg/dashboard.html#settings.html
Copy only the first number of the link, like this: moz-extension://76ejdhrh-6red-4fddg-agte-52rrfhrtrfg
Go to the "cookie and site data" settings and add this link as an exception with the "manage exception" option and set status to allow -

I decided to give ublock another try and it still was disabled when i restarted firefox, the funny thing is i replaced my 7800x3d with a 9800x3d today and after doing that ublock is no longer getting disabled and stays on all the time.

I'd recommend you try AdNauseam firefox extension. It uses ublock origin filters and such but allows you to trick sites into them thinking you are clicking ads in case using filters can break sites. AdNauseam has newest extensions updated on the github page https : // github.com / dhowe / AdNauseam / releases for newest versions since the firefox extension hosted doesn't always get updated right away but works quite well ether way. You have the option to do strict mode similar to Ublock Origin meaning you filter websites before they show up for you or you can run it regular mode to prevent sites from breaking. Ublock Origin required people to do some command in windows to allow another year of using MV2 manifest extensions since Google Chrome moved to MV3 manifest. My understanding was that Firefox was still allowing older manifest versions to work properly on that browser. Generally filters for adblocking are supposed to work best on Firefox over Google Chrome.
Hopefully this adblocker helps you since it's similar to Ublock Origin. -
Don't want to get involved with that since my issue was fixed.
