Audio Problem

hi there....
i've been converting avi to mpeg for a long time using TMPEG never had any problems until now...
one of the files that is in avi format when i go and try to convert to mpeg it gives me an error"cannot open or unsupported" for the audio
in the video np but there is just no sound?
why is that the case..there are total of 22 files and i had np on any of the others except for this particular avi file....

please help!!!

At a guess, it is a downloaded divx file you are trying to convert. If so there is a good chance that the problem you are seeing is due to it containing an AC3 audio stream. Use BEsweet (toold, to your left) to extract and convert to stereo .wav format. Use this as the audio stream when encoding with TmpGenc.
