  1. Hello,

When I play a video on VLC, I can enable closed captions for it, and the subtitles appear.
I'd like to extract these closed captions (as srt or whatever), but I can't see them with ffmpeg, or gMKVExtractGui.

Anyone can help me please? Here a short part of the video.

  4. You can also use clever FFmpeg-GUI to extract/delete EIA608/708 captions.

Thanks but it only sees Video and Audio streams, not the CC. I don't know why.

EDIT: Oh, silly me, I had to chose EIA 608... Thanks!

  6. A tool called Inviska uses MKVToolnix to extract subs which doesn't require command line.
