Hey,
I have a firepro v4900 card lying around and want to use it for encoding. I use a windows VM for encoding running on ESXI. I pass through the graphics card and installed the driver on the VM and rebooted the machine.
I was expecting in handbrake under video setting to be able to select some of the options but they are greyed out.
Anyone have any ideas what's going on?

I don't think that series of GPU's had any video acceleration; HW decoding only.
