All same equipment and programs.
No frames dropped in W2K.
Nothing but frames dropped in XP.
Is there some setting in XP that needs to be tweaked or disabled?
Or will Virtualdub just not work under XP?

I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you, but I wrote to commiserate. I've been having lots of problems using Virtualdub in Windows XP too. Anytime I want to use Virtualdub for the entire length of a movie file, it either hangs and doesn't work on the movie, or it crashes. I wrote another post about Graphedit not working properly in Windows XP as well. Go figure. Hope you get some feedback that will solve my problems too
Good Luck!
