  1. Hi everyone, I'm here with trying to solve a problem I had recently, I've already use the search function but I couldn't find anything helpful,
I'm trying to use the timeshift buffer in OTT Navigator for some live channels.
Basically when I load the mpd manifest on my PC with Shaka Player I can travel until 2 hours back since in the manifest there is timeShiftBufferDepth="PT2H" and everything works fine.

When I load the same manifest in OTT Nav I can't travel back and each time the channel starts from live.
I've also tried to set in the m3u playlist the catchup type: timeshift but also other type of catchup but none seemed to work.

Is there anybody who can help me and managed to solve this issue?

  5. I was also banned from that group just for asking that. It seems they are one of the most toxic community ever, I switched to tivimate and bought lifetime subscription and never looked back. I wish ott navigator dies and I will never recommend it anymore to any other user. Only tivimate or sparkle for me now.

  6. OTTnav doesn't support it, I think the app that supports it is iMPlayer IPTV Player.

  7. They can easily support it if they upgrade the exoplayer version. Exoplayer (media3) has already added this feature same as Shaka Player.
Basically the player must properly read the timeshiftbufferdepth tag included into the mpd manifest.
