[SOLVED] DVB Dream site is down, can't get registration key

I had to reinstall Windows, but I can't get the registration key, because the program site is down.

I have User ID and Password, but the program needs "registration key", which can be generated from ID and password at the broken site www.dvbdream.org/members .

I tried to contact Rel, author via email, but I received "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" email.

Actually I'm a beta tester and moderator of the forum, my nick "Dreamer" can be find in program menu - Help - About - Credits.

I'd really miss this program, I know about alternatives, but it would be just a workaround.

Anyone can help me, please?

I had ProgDVB, which is partly trial, then SmartDVB, but it's dead, site is down either.

Sorry I misunderstood. I thought you needed registration key for Windows.
I also watch TV from satellite dish. I never liked ProgDVB.

I own a legal licence for DVB Dream, reinstalled Windows, and now I can't get reg key, because it's generated from ID and password on DVB Dream homepage, which is down.

Alternatively I need some other free DVB program.

Thanks, I know all those programs, I tested them all for years, I don't like this one.

DVB Dream is perfect for me, I'd even rather pay for DVB Dream again, than pay for other program, I created also own button theme for it and "dark mode".

Currently I'm using SmartDVB, which is free, works good, but it's "dead".

Not sure how we can help. I read that TBS Technologies uses the OEM version in their satellite cards. Perhaps you can contact them and ask why they closed down.
Hopefully this is just a temporary closure.

Rel, DVB Dream developer replied from other email, site and forum is working, I could get registration key and DVB Dream is working again!

Great. Looks like it was a temporary server problem.
BTW what is your satellite receiver? I am guessing it is a Satellite card.
I switched to Enigma 2 receivers many years ago and use OpenWebif to watch channels on my PC.

Thanks for your effort in getting the DVBdream site up and running. I've been a long time user of DVBdream going back to 2008 from memory and have found it the best option for my needs and equipment compared with the other alternatives. The only issue is getting support for later version sat cards such as the tbs6903/9 I have a tbs6986 that works well.

TBS themselves are a lot to blame. Although they have tried but can not get a fix. They say that as long as it works on TBS software that is their main priority.

It's all to do with the chipset being used.

Interestingly another issue is to do with streamreader and dvbdream DVBdream are aware of this and it is to do with the ic2 address is wrong in streamreader.dll. They have contracted crazy cat for an update. This may fix the freezing up of dvbdream with no signal issue as well. Let's hope we get it sorted
