hi
I've a VCD Karaoke. My question is how can i record/extract the song(s) without singer's voice?? All i want is running text + music sound; NO singer's voice.
Thanks!

Hi,
The way to do this is open the MPEG stream (.DAT file probably) in TMPGenc and de-mux the audio to a MP2 file.
Now open that file in an audio editor. (Like Cool Edit Pro) which supports MP2/3 files.
A Karaoke VCD MPeg stream is just a 2 channel stereo track with the singing part on one side and the non-singing part on the other. So what you wanna do is select only the side which contains the non-singing part and save that as a mono track.
There is NO way to save it as a stereo track.
