    Ok, I see.
You want use the audio from the 23.976 fps mp4 with the video from the 24 fps mkv.

    1) load the 23.976 fps mp4, click encode audio stream, select the aac encoder, bitrate 192 kbs, at change length & pitch select preset 23,976 to 24 and click encode.

    2) load the 24 fps mkv, click extract streams, select only the aac audiostream on the left and click extract.
    3) with the same video loaded, click encode audiostream and note the Audio offset (top right). Return to main page and click encode videostream. Note the video offset (top right).
Note also the difference of the two values.
If the video offset is greater than the audio offset, then the audio starts BEFORE the video. In this case this difference must be cut from the beginning of the audio stream.
If the audio offset is greater than the video offset, then the video starts BEFORE the audio. In this case this difference must be added as silence at the beginning of the audio stream.

    4) Load the extracted 24 fps mkv audiostream in Audacity and perform the action mentioned before (cutting or adding).
    5) If done, drag the new created audiostream from the 23,976 fps mp4 into Audacity.
    6) Compare the lower audio stream with the upper one and adjust it to match the upper one (add silence or cut out begin or end). Compare the peaks to do this.
The lower audio stream must be the same length as the upper one.
When you're done, delete the upper audio stream and export the lower one as AAC, 192 kbs.
    7) Mux the exported aac with the 24 fps mkv to a new video.

The final video should be in sync and start without any delay.

  2. You should not need to use a certain player to watch the video.
Providing all of the players you have can play the video.

If you could make a short clip of each video with AVI.Demux in a postable size.
Maybe I could work with those & test if my ffmpeg code works on them.

Otherwise give the method ProWo posted a try.

  3. Everything worked fine and synchronized. I did as you said, ProWo. I just have a question for you, ProWo. I used Clever FFMPEG for audio encoding in this program. In the Bitrate (kb/s) box, I set it to a maximum of 529 because I thought you meant volume, but you specified 192 kb/s, and I didn't understand that option. Thanks, ProWo.

I also don't know how to select just one audio when there are three different audio tracks in the video clip using Clever FFmpeg.
How would I be able to show it in the program's screenshot? I couldn't find it.

529 kb/s for a 2 channels aac stream is too much. The next time use 192 k/bs as I said.
Google for audio bitrate to understand it.

  6. Thanks to ProWo I will do that only 192kb/s

  7. @ Henryk69,
From the two MediaInfo texts posted .
    One was 96kb/s & the other 282kb/s.
I would match the audio bitrate to the bitrate of the audio track you use.
Even more so since they are the same codec you are using.

Then in the last screen shot the audio tracks are 1536kb/s DTS & 192kb/s .ac3.
If you are using the 192kb/s .ac3 then the 192kb/s setting it Clever is correct.
I do not know the best setting for the DTS track if that one is used.
ProWo please post an answer to this.

  9. @ ProWo,
    Thanks for the answer.
It seems your method worked for Henryk69.

Any opinion on the ffmpeg code method I posted in post#19 ?
I have only used this on two videos but it did sync them correctly.

  10. I recently had a different problem: I already had separate audio that was synchronized well, but it was a bit too quiet. So I decided to increase the volume using Audacity. It increased the volume, but it no longer matched the video and wasn't synchronized.
For now, I'm left with a quiet, well-synchronized audio, but I'm listening with headphones.
I'll be trying Cholla's method soon – I think it will be interesting too.
Thanks to ProWo and Cholla for their help.

  11. ProWo, I have a question for you: what program would you recommend for cutting videos? I often have problems with videos where I have to trim them at the beginning or at the end to make them match and synchronize. Some programs struggled with accuracy, others froze during the image test while the audio continued playing, and after exporting, it turned out they were cutting in other places.
