Problem fast forwarding SVCD in my DVD Player.

I created an SVCD using Nero 5.5.8 and the scandat.dat file, but when I play it in my DVD play (APEX AD-600A) and press FF it goes backward (rewinds). I have made a number of VCDs, but I never had this problem before. One thing I did notice is the EXT Folder was empty, except for the scandat.dat file I added. There is normally a couple of other files in there for a VCD, so I don't know if this is the problem or just a trait of the SVCD. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

LOL try pressing rewind for fast forward! svcd searching can be screwy! play around with it for a while....ull be amazed at what u can do!

That was the first thing I tried and it still didn't work. Not an issue anymore, because I'm using EasyVCD now and it works perfectly. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.
