  1. hi there,

    i need to download video from playlist m3u8 with download speed very slow... i've tried also with VPN (no needed for me), yt-dlp and N_m3u8DL-RE all the same, poor connection, so slow speed to download.
    a couple of months ago, i've add to N_m3u8DL-RE --thread-count 16 and down speed it was very good, but now (I think something has changed in the site) with --thread-count i have a lot of 503's errors (and skip some segments) so i can't use thread-count and my down speed is about 1 MB/s or less, for download video 720p i need about 20 min...
    so i need to download from m3u8 when i'm online, then stop, then resume download (for very long video). i've add --save-name xxx but also with that N_m3u8DL-RE failed to resume video download (padding error)
    we have trick/hint to resume download? thank you everybody

  2. Have you tried reducing the number of threads? or tried yt-dlp with -N or --downloader aria2c? all got error 503?

  4. @shellcmd
    yes, with all threads i have 503 error. only without threads download work fine. and yes, same error with yt-dlp with -N or aria2 (i think is due to server overload)

    @lomero
    thanks for your tip, but yt-dlp (not tested resume at the moment) is more slowly than N_m3u8DL-RE ...

  5. yes, you're right. but well if you need 20 min to download your video, i think time isn't your problem

    so, i can run this bat to download some segments and stopped when i've end my session online. then i can run again from all day
    but each time i can hold CTRL+C download stopped but i have also another request: Terminate the batch process (Y/N)?

    how to bypass this advise ?? i want hold CTRL+C, stop download, and close cmd window without other confirmation
