I have no issues, whatsoever, using it to capture video using the yellow RCA cable. However, when I connected it to my camcorder using the S-VHS output, there is no input showing. I connected the cable to my S-VHS machine output to get a second opinion. Same thing. I cannot imagine the S-VHS input not working, as I use the device very infrequently. Any ideas? TIA.

Okay...this is embarrassing. As I see no option to delete the thread, I am editing it.
It was a problem between the chair and the keyboard! The Dazzle device was not powered up! That will do it!

It's called S-Video not S-VHS, You will have to select the input in the capture software, otherwise it defaults to composite.
Edit: I "never mind" too, I didn't read you post all the way to the end.
